How long does therapy last?
Therapy can be anywhere from a couple sessions to over a year. The length of time is dependent on your journey and what you desire. I believe therapy should be short-term, and I work to help you towards your goals so that is possible.
How do I know if you’re a good fit for me?
The short answer is if you sense I understand your situation, have compassion towards you, and can help you! I don’t think you can decide those things until after we have met at least one session. I offer a free 30-minute consultation for this very reason. I enjoy hearing what you have found helpful or unhelpful with any previous therapy, and I welcome questions about faith, race, your values, my values and experience.
